Lake Norman - indoor-outdoor living

This home was built in the mid 1990's.  It has great bones and is in a wonderful neighborhood.  The Client asked for advice before buying the home to make sure it was suited to being remodeled.  The project included a large back deck addition which created beautiful indoor-outdoor living for this lake front home.   The interior of the home also received a new lease on life, updating all the bathrooms, staircase, paint, flooring, lighting and all new furnishings.  A crisp color palette with lots of organic materials was used throughout the home.

Maine Cottage Inspired Remodel

The inspiration for the homes interior design and sunroom addition were happy memories of time spent in a cottage in Maine with family and friends. The sunroom space was originally a screened in porch. The homeowner wanted to enclose the space and make it function as an extension of the house and be usable the whole year. Lots of windows, comfortable furniture and antique pieces like the horse bicycle turned side table make the space feel unique, comfortable and inviting in any season. The homeowner had lots of beautiful antiques and original artworks that were woven into beautiful spaces inside the home.  From a Steinway piano to antique furniture pieces the home is unique to the owner and welcoming to friends and family.

Lake Norman - Nature Inspired Master bathroom remodel

Light filled primary bathroom remodel. 
We created a nature inspired sanctuary in this large bathroom, warming it with wood tones on the vanities and pendant light over the tub, textured neutral tile for the shower walls and floors and a beautiful freestanding tub under the stained glass window. We reworked the shower to create a zero entry floor for ease of access.
